It’s About YOUR Big Moment in Life
A celebrant should be a perfect fit. So let me introduce myself.
I’m Anja Kasper, a celebrant in Berlin and Brandenburg – for wedding ceremonies, baby welcomings, funerals and pet memorials. I hold the German qualifications Zertifizierte Freie Rednerin (ZFR) and Freie Rednerin (IHK). I accompany people and families through the most important moments of their lives. With words that move. And since I love to travel, I’m essentially bookable anywhere in the world – for ceremonies in English and German.
It matters deeply to me to honour every person individually. Not with pretty phrases, but with genuine, carefully chosen words written for this one person, this one couple, this one family alone. Even as a child, I played with words – writing stories and poems. Language, to me, is not a technique but a passion. I’m grateful to put this passion to meaningful use – for people in the defining moments of their lives.
A few things about me: I’m a mother of three grown-up children, and with a White Swiss Shepherd and a Siberian cat in the house, there was – and is – always life at home. I love New Zealand (and travelling in general), 1. FC Union Berlin (and football in general), Die Toten Hosen (and good music in general), and active holidays of any kind. I’m a trained end-of-life companion, I guide stadium tours at 1. FC Union Berlin, and I sing in a choir. Before becoming self-employed, I worked at Mercedes-Benz and 1. FC Union Berlin. Digitalisation will always remain a small passion of mine – but my experience accompanying people at the end of life has shaped me deeply and led me here.
What I believe: People decide freely how they want to live and love – regardless of religion, family model or worldview. Equality, respect and diversity are not buzzwords to me; they are lived conviction, present in every ceremony, every consultation and every conversation.
Sound like a good fit? Get in touch, I look forward to meeting you.
